      Hess 2000 Miniature Hess First Truck Marking the turn of the century, Hess releases a nod to the past with the Miniature Hess First Truck- a replica of the truck that company founder, Leon Hess, drove delivering fuel oil to customers in 1933. It features the original quartet coloring, working headlights and taillights, and a display stand.

      We recently purchased an estate of G scale model trains and included was a collection of Hess Trucks. While there is not a particular scale associated with this brand, they are a highly collectible item and if not purchasing to collect, some would actually fit well as scenery items on a model train or slot car layout.

      All HESS trucks we have listed on our site are “New Old Stock” meaning that they include all original packaging and literature, and the item shows no evidence of ever being run or used beyond storage. New Old Stock packaging will usually show signs of shelf storage, but the contents will be in excellent condition. All of our HESS truck boxes have been opened in order to inspect for any corroded battery compartments in both the main vehicles as well as any secondary or accessory vehicles which may be part of the HESS product.
