      Hess 1999 Hess Miniature Fire Truck The second in the series, the Hess Miniature Fire Truck is a small scale version of the 1986 Fire Truck Bank. While the bank feature was not included in the Mini, the working emergency lights, headlights, and taillights along with the oversized telescoping ladder and chrome detail made this an instant fan favorite.

      We recently purchased an estate of G scale model trains and included was a collection of Hess Trucks. While there is not a particular scale associated with this brand, they are a highly collectible item and if not purchasing to collect, some would actually fit well as scenery items on a model train or slot car layout.

      All HESS trucks we have listed on our site are “New Old Stock” meaning that they include all original packaging and literature, and the item shows no evidence of ever being run or used beyond storage. New Old Stock packaging will usually show signs of shelf storage, but the contents will be in excellent condition. All of our HESS truck boxes have been opened in order to inspect for any corroded battery compartments in both the main vehicles as well as any secondary or accessory vehicles which may be part of the HESS product.
