        Hess 2009 Race Car and Racer This aerodynamic race car is loaded with realistic features - ignition, acceleration and horn sounds, and twenty-nine lights, plus low-profile headlights and a rear spoiler. When pressed, the front hood of the car opens to reveal a hidden mini racer. The smaller car is equally impressive. In fact, it may have an advantage: a pull-back friction motor for increased velocity. Both racers came with low-profile headlights - a first for a Hess Toy Truck.

        We recently purchased an estate of G scale model trains and included was a collection of Hess Trucks. While there is not a particular scale associated with this brand, they are a highly collectible item and if not purchasing to collect, some would actually fit well as scenery items on a model train or slot car layout.

        All HESS trucks we have listed on our site are “New Old Stock” meaning that they include all original packaging and literature, and the item shows no evidence of ever being run or used beyond storage. New Old Stock packaging will usually show signs of shelf storage, but the contents will be in excellent condition. All of our HESS truck boxes have been opened in order to inspect for any corroded battery compartments in both the main vehicles as well as any secondary or accessory vehicles which may be part of the HESS product.
