        Hess 2008 Hess Toy Truck and Front End Loader This heavy-duty duo is awash in shiny chrome details, bright lights, and special features. Five buttons at the truck cab activate flashing lights, a backup alert signal, a gigantic sounding horn, and a startup ignition sound. But the most magical button activates Hess's first-ever hydraulic lift, a sound-enhanced feature that raises the truck at an angle, so the Front-End Loader can roll off and get to work. And work it does, thanks to a dual-direction motor (another Hess Truck first!) that drives the vehicle forward or backward while the bucket arm and working shovel do the heavy lifting.

        We recently purchased an estate of G scale model trains and included was a collection of Hess Trucks. While there is not a particular scale associated with this brand, they are a highly collectible item and if not purchasing to collect, some would actually fit well as scenery items on a model train or slot car layout.

        All HESS trucks we have listed on our site are “New Old Stock” meaning that they include all original packaging and literature, and the item shows no evidence of ever being run or used beyond storage. New Old Stock packaging will usually show signs of shelf storage, but the contents will be in excellent condition. All of our HESS truck boxes have been opened in order to inspect for any corroded battery compartments in both the main vehicles as well as any secondary or accessory vehicles which may be part of the HESS product.
