        Hess 1986 Hess Fire Truck Bank The second fire truck in Hess toy history is also the first in the fleet to be originally designed as a bank. Making a bold statement in traditional "fire engine red" with lots of chrome detail, the truck boasts an extended cab with brightly flashing emergency lights and headlights and taillights, each operated by individual switches. The extendable three-section aerial ladder swivels 360 degrees and has ratchet gears, which ensure it can be "locked" in place.

        We recently purchased an estate of G scale model trains and included was a collection of Hess Trucks. While there is not a particular scale associated with this brand, they are a highly collectible item and if not purchasing to collect, some would actually fit well as scenery items on a model train or slot car layout.

        All HESS trucks we have listed on our site are “New Old Stock” meaning that they include all original packaging and literature, and the item shows no evidence of ever being run or used beyond storage. New Old Stock packaging will usually show signs of shelf storage, but the contents will be in excellent condition. All of our HESS truck boxes have been opened in order to inspect for any corroded battery compartments in both the main vehicles as well as any secondary or accessory vehicles which may be part of the HESS product.
